You will learn ways to ensure your nonprofit is fiscally sound in the months, years and decades to come.

Up to 4 hours, Governmental, continuing education (CE) credits offered to attendees.

Who's Speaking?

Our speakers—nonprofit experts, accountants and CFOs—will discuss traditional best practices and emerging financial trends that will help you rethink sustainability and impact mission goals.

Agenda

Walk away with a clear understanding of how nonprofit CFOs and their finance teams can start creating trends—not following them—by building a team with flexible skillsets, improving efficiencies and making an impact with the right reporting to board members, funders and donors.

Keynote: Sustainability: Does It Actually Exist in the Nonprofit Sector

There has been much discussion about nonprofit sustainability. As nonprofit leaders, we are constantly asked by funders, donors and the general public about how we plan to sustain our programs. In light of the growing challenges facing the nonprofit sector, we must re-evaluate our assumptions—as well as society's perceptions and expectations—and think strategically. Vu Le, author of nonprofitwithballs.com and Executive Director of Seattle-based Rainier Valley Corps, will discuss the current state of the nonprofit sector, as well as where he sees the sector in the next five-plus years. His discussion will center around equity, diversity and inclusion, meta-innovation and the critical role that finance leaders and their teams play in the sector. Prepare to laugh and think.
